This is normal, as the phone will generate some heat when charging. The main reasons for the heat are: 1) The charging speed will be faster when the phone power is low, and the wall charger will output 9V high voltage, causing the phone to generate heat due to the voltage converting process. 2) Too many high-power-consuming programs running in the background of the phone can cause it to run at a high load and generate more heat.

Recommendations: 1) Clean up the running programs with high power consumption in the phone's background. 2) Avoid using the phone while it's charging with low power, as this will put it in a high-load state.

If you see the error message "This accessory may not be supported by device," it could be due to: 1) Impurities like fiber and debris in the device's Lightning port, resulting in poor contact. 2) The wall charger's voltage being too low or unstable, causing insufficient power supply. 3) Corrosion/staining on the Lightning end, leading to poor contact. 4) Circuit logic or system problems with the charging equipment. 5) Damage to the cable's chip or motherboard.

You can try: 1) Using a pushpin to clean out lint or debris from the charging port. 2) Wiping the Lightning end with a tissue to remove dirt and oxidation. 3) Using the original charger or an MFi-authorized charger, as some laptop USB ports may have insufficient power output.
